I decided to do a dog fight for this project. I used the perspective tool under the transform sub menu to make the blue plane look like it was coming from behind on the original yellow plane. A simple hue/sat adjustment layer was used to change the color of the plane. I then dogdes it, probably too evenly, because only the bottom of the plane is facing the sun. the smoke was made by by blurring some black paint.
